Although safari in Majete Wildlife Reserve can be done year-round, but the best times to visit are during the dry season from May to October when the vegetation is sparse, and animals congregate around water sources. The rainy season from November to April breathes new life into the landscape, with lush greenery and a plethora of newborn animals.

Getting to Majete is an adventure in itself. The reserve is located about a 4-hour drive from Blantyre, Malawi’s commercial capital.
